Cruise Collections are interim collections, usually released in
November of each year. You definitely know about Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer collections that each respectable fashion house releases every year during Paris Fashion Week or New York Fashion Week.
Cruise collection comes in between the two. Only big houses offer this collection and not even all of them.
Traditionally cruise collection was meant for customers who take entire winter off to spend it at some sort of warm resort. Lately, however cruise collections changed their meaning and are offered for the transitional season between warm summer and cold winter. It's not necessarily Fall, it's just
